In 1996 we were fortunate enough to get our first Bluetick off Paul and Sue Simmonds of Briagalong in Vic. Brandy came to us as a 3 year old bitch and Cooder a couple of months later as an 8 week old pup. Both were shown and Lure Coursed with great success they produced 3 litters from which the progeny went to a wide range of lifestyles. One outstanding progeny was Gator who trained with Craig Murray for man-trailling and three of their daughters went to join the team controlling the feral cat population working for Parks and Wildlife at Tibobarrah in NSW. Cooder continues to be great ambassador for the breed by participating in the aspirant judges lectures each year.  Cooder, our last Coonhound passed away January 1st 2007.
